The fabric is thin and has a slight stretch to it, so it moves easily and doesn't crease much when you sit. The bodice is fitted through the waist and the skirt flares out from there, swinging freely as you walk without catching on the legs. The pockets are cut into the side seams so they lay flat and don't add bulk to the hip area.
